The Task

Sofar Sounds is a live music event platform that builds community and emerging artists. While the platform has grown expeditiously to over 400 cities across the globe, they had yet to see their content and partnerships grow with them. 

The Results

From 2017 - 2019, ABCS turned up the volume by facilitating music partnerships with Xfinity, 20th Century Fox, Acura, and Absolut.

For each Sofar series, ABCS managed the local production teams, locations, content, artist bookings and negotiations, including VIP management for Lily Allen, Sofia Reyes, Marty O'Reilly, Lauren Ruth Ward, The East Light, and more.

The strategy maximized Sofar Sounds profits by 23% in 2019, established a stronger vendor network and catapulted local,emerging artists to a global stage.

The Film Bohemian Rhapsody Releases With a Worldwide Stunt

To build excitement for the film release of Bohemian Rhapsody, artists and music fans from around the world gathered in secret, music-inspired locations to celebrate the one band that brings us all together - Queen.

Guests sung along to covers and came dressed as our iconic heroes, providing an intimate, yet globally-shared experience across 8 cities around the world: Milan, Paris, Seoul, Mexico City, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Absolut and Sofar Get Into the Holiday Spirit with One Warm Coat

In celebration of #OneWarmCoatDay, Sofar Sounds and Absolut joined forces to create a unique, donation-based concert series to collect coats for those in need.

The series took place in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, providing a holiday-appropriate,charitable moment that centered music as a form to create social impact.

Xfinity, Dinah Jane and Sofar Team Up for “The Future of Awesome” Tour

Curated by Dinah Jane, the tour brought together 36 emerging artists for original music performances in 12 cities: Atlanta, Boston, Burlington (Vt.), Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Philadelphia. Portland and Washington, D.C.

Throughout the tour, we captured the secret locations [i.e. SNL’s Studio 8H], performances and talent interviews, culminating into a docuseries exclusively available on Xfinity’s X1 video platform.
